We have entered our teams into the Chippenham and District League and Captains have been chosen.
If you would like to play in the league please come along to one of the following sessions to meet the captains and try out for the different teams.

Sunday March 27th from 1pm until 3pm
or
Thursday 31st March from 6pm onwards.

Don't forget to renew your membership by 1st of April to get your 'early bird' discount - only members of the club can play for the teams in the C & D League.

Would you like to purchase a Trowbridge Westbourne Tennis Club T-Shirt or Polo? Well you soon can! Your committee are giving you the opportunity to purchase your very own white T-Shirt (for Children) or Green Polo Shirt (for Adults), for use on club nights, matches and wherever you like!
Both the white T-Shirt and Green Polo feature the club logo on the left-chest and the Westbourne Tennis website address on the reverse.

Dear Member,
Here is a quick update from your tennis club to cheer you up on a rainy autumn day.
Increase membership – up from 75 to over 115 adults, from less than 35 to over 100 juniors, especially well done to our Head Coach Ron Marshall. We are now offering a full coaching programme and tournaments, and for the first time in over 5 years have members off to LTA Talent ID – good luck to them. With such a massive increase in membership, our club and our ability to invest in our facilities is more secure.

A great Club Closed – thanks to everyone who joined in and well done to Kay Gilbert for organising us all so well again this year.
A new Social Secretary – thanks to Francine Sherrard for volunteering - please support the Christmas Meal if you can. We are also working on a Wimbledon Finals Day event for 2011 with the bar open in the club house but need a tv, aerial & licence to achieve this, let us know if you can help with this project.
Ambitions – we are currently trying to revamp winter evening club sessions, we want to find a way of ensuring that all members can join in but that they don’t have to get cold waiting, if you have any ideas on achieving both of these objectives let us know.
Clubmark – this enormous undertaking is almost coming to a successful conclusion, our current aim is for early next year, massive thanks to Bruce Hartfield for all his efforts on this.
And a personal thank you from me to ALL of the committee for all of their hard work to make TWTC a better club for everyone.
